I recently completed the level 3 Impellus management course. It has been my most useful course to date and I have been trying to apply the techniques and skills I learned on the courses to my work life, this has been implemented with great success. I found the Effective Communication Skills course the most useful as this is something I have been aiming to improve and having structured learning and fantastic teachers has helped me progress greatly.
I found one of the most useful aspects of the Impellus ILM Level 3 Leadership & Managment course was the focus on practical application of leadership theories and concepts in real-world scenarios. This hands-on approach helped me develop a deeper understanding of how to effectively lead and manage teams in various situations.
I feel like the Organisational Leadership Skills course itself has some very useful and practical techniques demonstrated, that will surely help me as a manager. The most useful parts for me were the break-out rooms and talking with other trainees openly, exchanging experiences and dealing with challenges.
All courses were extremely helpful, and I enjoyed the interaction with other members on all courses which came from so many diverse backgrounds and positions. I learned so much which I have taken away and brought to my team and 1:1’s. Delegation was a key skill with these courses as it’s given me more time for my team and given my team the time to shine with more individual projects I’ve given them. Leadership skills do not come overnight and influencing my team to generate the desire to want to learn and grow was also a key point on these courses.
Achieving the Level 3 Certificate of Learning through the Impellus management courses has been incredibly rewarding for me. I’ve gained relevant and practical knowledge and skills which are already proving beneficial to my career. I look forward to continuing to apply this learning to my future professional growth!

I really enjoyed the course. The tutors were great and the course content was taught thoughtfully and the they really brought the material to life. The best bit was having a group of peers to discuss topics and work experiences with across the two days with regular break out sessions which kept us all engaged throughout.
