The Level 3 ILM Award is an academic qualification designed for all managers and leaders who are managing people or teams already and are looking to validate their skills through assessment. Delegates typically have diverse experience, from first-time team supervisors to much more experienced managers who have no formal training or qualification.

What is an ILM Award?

ILM Level 3 courses

Key points

Courses Two one-day courses. Delivered in open courses online or in-house to suit you.
Qualification process Online submission. Approximately 15 questions. 8,000 to 10,000 words. One free remark included if initially referred. 
Support Business hours, personalised feedback with academic and practical assistance.
Approximate time to complete Approximately 15 to 20 hours of directed question answering and research. Twelve months to complete – including marking time.

Entry requirements 

Delegates are self-elected, although as this is a Level 3 qualification (A-level standard) with a written submission, we would advise that all delegates are managers or team leaders heading for a management role, have access to a computer and are comfortable with academic process. They should be comfortable with the time required to achieve their qualification.
