The South West Development Initiative

Up to £50,000 funding per employer for management and leadership development.

A funded initiative to develop managers and leaders in the South East of England – from line managers running teams right the way through to the executives who build and lead the organisations that create opportunity in challenging times. 

Available only to organisations with between 15 and 1,000 employees based in the counties of the South West region. Employers from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors are eligible.

The deadline for applications is 5.00pm Thursday, 26 February 2026 unless the total fund is allocated in advance.

The East of England Development Initiative

Up to £50,000 funding per employer for management and leadership development.

A funded initiative to develop managers and leaders in the South East of England – from line managers running teams right the way through to the executives who build and lead the organisations that create opportunity in challenging times. 

Available only to organisations with up to 50 employees based in the counties of the East of England region. Employers from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors are eligible.

The deadline for applications is 5.00pm Thursday, 12 March 2026 unless the total fund is allocated in advance.

The Leadership Skills Development Initiative

A matched funding initiative for all UK employers with up to 30 employees

A 50% contribution is available towards to Leadership Skills Development course enabling small employers to quickly and easily deliver essential skills to the people running their organisations.
