Read moreHere’s what managers and their HR teams have to say. All of these quotes have come during the course of normal feedback or follow up with clients.
The course was perfectly pitched. The leadership style exercise was an eye-opener. I enjoyed interacting with the other participants.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We were encouraged to challenge our current mindset. It was a great opportunity to discuss opinions with other delegates in similar positions.
It was the first time I had ever attended a formal management training course – was worried it might be too ‘corporate’, but everything was described in a way that can be applied to all organisations including the arts.
I found exploring the difference between leadership and management particularly helpful. The course showed me how to take a step back and let my team do the tasks they can handle. I found it all useful and will take the knowledge back to my workplace.
I found the leadership style questionnaire most helpful – it made me analyse myself and think about changes. There was great interaction within the group. The trainer allowed the delegates to voice their opinions and was happy to discuss them.
I found the group exercise really useful – it made me reflect more on how I may be perceived by others. It was a really informative training course which I will be recommending to colleagues. Facilities were excellent.
The tutor was very engaging. I enjoyed the whole day and the delivery of content was spot on. It made me, at times, think seriously as to how I see myself delivering my role and maybe more importantly, how colleagues perceive me. Refreshments, location and lunch were great also.
The course was well delivered. The trainer was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and handled all responses well.
The trainer’s presentation skills were very good. Much of the content was familiar to me but I don’t often get the opportunity to reflect on it and on my own performance. I felt challenged and had the opportunity today to notice my own resistance to change. Very interesting!
I enjoyed listening to other managers’ experiences and the opportunity to network. The activities were most useful especially analysing strategic business aims versus those of the team and my own.
