David has extensive experience in sales, hospitality, customer service and entertainment. Having held senior management positions in various large hospitality organisations he has led teams and been responsible for creating, setting, and delivering on sales strategies. His skill set includes account management, business development and solution selling.
As well as having a strong background in hospitality sales David received the best possible customer service and presenting training when working for Disney Cruise Line and brings this experience to his courses.
He also spent two years teaching English in Italy where, on behalf of the local Town Hall, he wrote and delivered a “Tourism English Course” for local business owners.
David is a passionate trainer whose key areas of knowledge are leadership, management, communication, sales and presenting.

There was a good flow to the day and David (Ross) was good at encouraging conversations, which is difficult in an online environment. I found the leadership style questionnaire useful - it confirmed my thinking on where I need to focus my efforts and gave me a framework to do that.
The structure was good in the way that the content is broken into small, easy to digest segments. There is enough time to think each topic through without having to jump straight into the next section. The chance to reflect on my own leadership style was eye-opening. Even though some of this should have been obvious to me, it was easier to recognise in this format.
Trainers were very knowledgeable and facilitated the courses in a fun and enjoyable way.
Following the courses, the team got together, competed presentations showing what we learnt, how this will effect our roles moving forward and also how this effects the long term plans of the business. We also discussed our own communication styles and how we could better improve the communication as a team and across the business.
