The Property Centre is a multi-award-winning independent estate agency with nine successful sales and lettings offices across Gloucester, Stroud, Cheltenham and Worcester. Every branch offers the full range of sales, lettings and property management services as well as professional mortgage advice.

Originally founded in 1997, the company has expanded continuously thanks to its exceptional customer service and determination to consistently go above and beyond their local competitors.

2. The challenge

The Property Centre’s remarkable success has led to the creation of a number of different management roles across various branches and departments. Its policy of promoting outstanding employees, typically from negotiator to branch manager, created a key requirement for leadership skills training.

3. The training

The senior management team decided to ‘start at the top’ and booked a senior-level leadership development programme with Impellus.

The feedback from the senior management team after our first engagement with Impellus was brilliant and this gave us the confidence to roll out the training throughout the company including to our sales negotiators and financial services team.

The team covered core leadership skills training in-house which allowed them to share best practices across branches and departments whilst they learned too. It also provided the opportunities for people to meet and get to know each other and respect each other’s challenges.
