Q. Do courses need to be taken in any order in particular?
A. No. You can choose the course you want when you want for every individual. Please do note though that the courses for each individual need to be done within a two-year period from first to last course to qualify for the Certificate of Learning.
Q. What happens if somebody on a programme leaves our employment?
A. It happens. With the best will in the world, people leave. If a learner on a programme you have on account leaves, any untaken credits can be passed on to the next individual or shared out by you as you wish.
Clearly if they have started their courses or registered for a qualification these credits will have been used. You can replace them to allow your new team member to complete a programme or just use the days on account for days of training.
Q. Do days on account ever disappear if they’re not used?
A. In most cases, the answer is no. Operationally they’re there until used. However, for a number of reasons we do have to have a mechanism internally of balancing that with the need to remove unused days from account where they are not being used or the client organisation has disappeared, been bought or has a change of remit.
To ensure that you don’t lose days from your account you must make at least one booking in any 12 months from your last booking activity. That’s it.
Our terms are that we would take one day from your account – clearly marked as a dormant account charge – if the account is untouched for over 12 months. The days are completely removed if your account is untouched for a period of over three years.
