With Impellus you can create and deliver your own internal, fully branded leadership and management qualifications at junior, line and senior management levels. We deliver the core skills and thinking through our ILM Assured courses and each manager then goes through the assessment process set by you using a fully branded section of our Business Centre.
This ensures that their skills are being brought directly back into the parts of the organisation where you’ll see the greatest returns and reduce the most problems.
Your own, fully branded internal Academy
Your own Leadership Academy, Internal Management School, Institute; call it what ever you like. With Impellus you can get your managers out to challenge them, to learn, to be inspired and then focus their learning directly back into their workplace.
This gives both you and them all the benefits of Impellus open, ILM Assured management courses and the direct application of learning on your performance.
How does it work
Impellus is expert at delivering core management and leadership skills so your managers can make leaps in performance. You are expert in knowing your organisation and where you actually want those leaps in performance.
Working in partnership we create your qualifications using the mix of levels, courses and assessments that work for you.
Your assessments are then hosted on a fully branded section of our Business Centre where each of your Managers can log in and where you can manage learners, their progress and your entire account.
Your managers attend the Impellus ILM Assured courses on any date or at any venue you choose and we’ll even put additional courses into our schedule (chartered courses) to make life easier for you and them.
What qualifications can we deliver?
You can brand your own leadership ad management qualifications as you wish, as long as guidelines aren’t breached, and each manager will end up with a nationally recognisable and properly externally verified qualification.
You can deliver your own management qualifications at the following levels:
- Team Leader / Junior Manager (Level 2)
- Line Manager (Level 3)
- Senior Manager (Level 5)
You can choose how much learning needs to be done too to deliver an Award, Certificate or Diploma (the number of subjects or amount of learning required to achieve a pass).
Endorsed or regulated (ILM)?
We can help you create your own leadership and management qualifications using either an Endorsed or Regulated framework. Using an endorsed qualification provides greater flexibility meaning that you have more choices about the assessment processes (questions, format and criteria), branding and pitching of levels. You could choose to build your qualification on a regulated framework. This is an ILM qualification which must map to the unit criteria you choose. It has the benefit of being nationally recognised and carries the weight of the ILM but allows less flexibility in building the assessment criteria.
You will need to go through your specific requirements with us to help build the qualification and you will need to sign off final specifications once we’ve had them approved with the assessors.
We will also require your input in branding your Business Centre (your Learner Management System and Assessment Centre).
We ask for a minimum business commitment from you (see prices and packages) and will expect for at least ten of each qualification to be delivered in the first twelve months after initiation.
Financials and next steps
Set up is simple and done with the trainers who will look after your managers throughout. Depending on requirement you can usually be delivering within four weeks.
With an initial purchase of an Enterprise Development Programme of 100 days we charge a discounted rate of just £2,695 +VAT for the process and one qualification is free with programmes of 200 or 500 days.
There is up to £60k of funding currently available to all UK employers looking to set up their own qualifications.
As a guide, prices (after funding using the Vision 2020 initiative) start from around £22,700 which could also provide Awards for twenty Line Managers.
