Alison was so great at keeping us interested and using relatable examples really helped enhance the learning and understanding of the content. There was just the right amount of break-out areas and general breaks to keep the day flowing and not be stagnant.

I found learning about the methodologies really helpful! It was great to be in a course managed by David again – he’s engaging, knowledgeable, and gets just the right amount of depth. As a kinaesthetic learner, I loved that all the methodology was applied to a real-life example from our own jobs.

Due to the fact I work in a small accountancy practice, it gave me an insight into the processes and methods used by larger corporations. The courses had participants from all different sized businesses and industries and it gave me a good understanding of how these techniques apply to different situations.

Good content and delivery. The focus on applying thought processes to current work situations was very good.

Alison was very knowledgeable and engaging. I liked the analysis of our own leadership style and thinking about how to improve our effectiveness score.

The breakout rooms were really helpful for learning, everyone came from different companies/experience levels/team structures and it was important to hear that the challenges are broadly similar. Gave us ample opportunity to learn from one another, and David (James) was great at consolidating that in the bigger group.

Alison is brilliant, very knowledgeable and engaging. I liked the value proposition piece, got me thinking in more detail about what we offer and if there is a gap on knowledge internally or externally.

I thought the difference between collaborating with the other delegates but also the depth of knowledge illustrated by the facilitator allowed for personal development and a better understanding of the topic.

David was brilliant very engaging and knew what he was talking about. Normally I do not enjoy the breakout rooms but found them great this time, taught me a lot about being comfortable in the uncomfortable.

There was a good flow to the day and David (Ross) was good at encouraging conversations, which is difficult in an online environment. I found the leadership style questionnaire useful – it confirmed my thinking on where I need to focus my efforts and gave me a framework to do that.

I am taking away a lot from today’s session. David had a great way of making you think about things in a different light.
