As we grow, three exciting new opportunities will open up in January for Outbound Lead Generators. These roles – based at our central St Albans office – are on a part-time basis 09:45 to 14:45, five days per week so may suit parents looking to balance work and child care. The main function will be to arrange telephone or face-to-face appointments for our sales team, so we are looking for excellent communicators.

The job responsibilities

The role involves consistently making 15 to 20 outgoing calls per hour to well-identified leads to introduce Impellus and arrange appointments (mainly also on the telephone) for the Sales Executives. Success will be measured by the number of good appointments that are made and how well you convert Leads to Prospects.

The successful candidates will need to be able to communicate effectively, convey our values and be motivated by hitting targets and delivering quality conversations. You must possess a proven skill in outbound B2B lead generation and be able to communicate confidently with Managers and Directors at all levels.

Full training will be provided.

The following activities are essential to the success of this role:

  • Making 15 to 20 quality outgoing calls per hour
  • Booking quality appointments for the wider sales team
  • Qualify leads correctly and ensure there is a training need and budget
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up leads where necessary
  • Liaise internally to ensure good communications throughout the business
  • Keep excellent records

 

Remuneration and terms

A part-time contract of employment with a three-month probationary period is offered. There are 25 days holiday given every year on top of all weekends and statutory bank holidays.

Hourly wage:                        £10.26 per hour (£12,000 pa)

Hours:                                    22.5 hours per week working 09:45 to 14:45 with a half hour lunch

Holiday:                                25 days holiday per annum pus statutory bank holidays

The role could be offered on a school term-time basis only too
